Valerian is a perennial plant that is native to North America and Europe. The flowers are pale pink in colour and they grow from a tuberous root (rhizome).

Hellenia has combined six herbs designed to complement each other. Each tablet provides:

Valerian 24mg of 5:1 powdered extract  providing the equivalent of 120mg of the fresh herb
Gentian 30mg of 4:1 powered extract providing the equivalent of 120mg of the fresh herb
Chamomile 30mg of 4:1 powered extract providing the equivalent of 120mg of the fresh herb
Skullcap 30mg of 4:1 powered extract providing the equivalent of 120mg of the fresh herb
Hops 30mg of 4:1 powered extract providing the equivalent of 120mg of the fresh herb
Ginger (5% gingerols) 6mg.
