Lycopene is an open-chain unsaturated carotenoid, these prevent the oxidation of low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol. Lycopene can be quite easily absorbed within the body, and as an antioxidant help to neutralize free radical enzymes which can harm the body’s cells. This nutrient is found mostly in the liver, colon, skin, prostate gland and lungs.

Lycopene, found primarily in tomatoes, is a member of the carotenoid family, which includes beta-carotene and similar compounds found naturally in food. It has potent antioxidant capabilities, and research is also ongoing into other important possibilities of its benefits to health.

Each tablet provides 15mg of Lycopene.
