Tissues inside and around the joint get damaged because lubricating synovial fluids in the joint spaces become thin and watery, instead of thick and elestic.  There is a loss of normal cushioning and consequently the bones and the lining cartilage's collide and scrape together inside the joint space.  A loss of cushioning by watery bursea allows tendons to rub against the hard edges of the bones.  Cartilage starts to errode and problems arise.

Glucosamine helps to restore the thick gelatinous nature of the fluids and tissues in and around the joints and in between the vertebrae.  N-Acetyl Glucosamine and Glucosamine Sulphate are among the types of biological chemicals that form hyaluronic acid, a major cushioning ingredient of the joints fluid and surrounding tissues.

Normally animals form enough Glucosamine Sulphate, but poor posture, stress, ageing and free radical reactions rapidly deplete the animal's natural supply, hence the need for supplements.

DOSAGE:     Small / Medium Dog Half x 1 level 2.5ml scoop per day
                     Medium / Large Dog 1 x level 2.5ml scoop per day
                     Ponies   1 x level 15ml scoop per day
                     Horses   1 x raised 15ml scoop per day
                     Heavy Horses  2 x raised 15ml scoops per day
