Starflower oil is taken from the borage officinalis, commonly known as the Starflower, which is native to Great Britain, Europe and North Africa. It has blue star-shaped flowers and it is the seed that is used to produce starflower oil.

Starflower Borage Oil works in the same way as Evening Primrose Oil but contains greater amounts of Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA), therefore you don’t need to take as much. The 'GLA' found in Starflower Oil is essential for the formation of the lipids prosta-glandins , important regulators in the body. Taken regularly starflower oil helps to maintain healthy skin, a normal healthy hormonal balance, healthy joints and overall good health.
